Nerdfighters Gazette

VidCon is a huge video conference that’s going to happen this summer.  If you haven’t heard of it, you can check it out here.  My question for the Nerdfighter is: are you attending this awesome event?  I AM!

So you like the ones that Hank and John make, but you’re looking for more variety?  Well you’re in luck!  I’ve just started designing some T-Shirts with Nerdfighter-related things, such as Team Unicorn, Team Zombie, Puppy-Sized Elephants, DFTBA, as well as some In Your Pants Jokes.  You can also buy a button or a bag.

All revenue that I get from these shirts will go straight to my college fund or traveling to gatherings and to meet online friends.  Basically just helping me out.

NOTE: You don’t HAVE to buy any of this.  If you feel you like my designs, and you want to spend however much to get them on a shirt or button or whatever, then you can.  I certainly don’t expect you to buy them just out of sheer charity for me.  No, not at all.  Basically, only buy these if you WANT them, not because you think you have to.

The shirts go for slightly over $20 USD, but the buttons and bags are considerably cheaper.  You can f ind all of my merchandise here.

Lauren Fairweather, a prominent Nerdfighter musician, will be going on tour come this May. The recession has been very difficult on musicians. Merch sales are down, and not as many people are attending shows.  There will be a show on February 26, 2010 (That’s this Friday people!) at 76 West School Street, Apt 1 Woonsocket, Rhode Island 02895. Lauren will be there along with The Whomping Willows, Draco and the Malfoys, and JFF. Any purchases of merch at this shows will be a great help to these artists. The show is free, all Nerdfighters in the area that attend will be helping these people live their dreams. (Plus listening to the awesome music won’t exactly be a chore.)

For any of you artistic Nerdfighters, Lauren is also holding a Merch Design Contest.  There are some great prizes offered. Some of which include your choice of 10 buttons, and a physical item of the merch that you designed! This contest ends on Sunday.

Everyone who is a Nerdfighter has thought over the idea of being in Nerdfighterlike.  To have someone who shares so many ideas, thoughts, and inside jokes with – right from the first meeting – has to be amazing!  Now, I personally am not dating a Nerdfighter, but if you want to, then that’s perfectly wonderful!
